The Manufacturing Technician is integral to the production process, responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to uphold the highest quality standards. This role involves monitoring production activities, troubleshooting issues, and supporting process improvements. With a focus on detail and safety, the Manufacturing Technician helps maintain the smooth and efficient functioning of the manufacturing operations.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
- Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
- Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
- Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
- Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.
Nice to Have:
- Associate/Bachelor Degree (Electronic, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology or related)
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- SAP knowledge
- Vision System basic knowledge
- PLC basic knowledge
- Proficient Knowledge on the interpretation of electrical and mechanical schematics
- Troubleshooting knowledge on electronic and mechanical components, equipment or systems.
