We are seeking a General Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance services, complete thorough vehicle inspections, and conduct comprehensive safety checks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to safely operate a variety of automotive service equipment, including hydraulic lifts and pneumatic (air) tools.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other light maintenance services
- Conduct thorough, accurate, and honest vehicle inspections
- Identify maintenance and repair needs and communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors
- Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs and diagnose concerns
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of automotive mechanic or general service experience
- Own the basic tools needed to perform oil changes and light maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
