Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Remote
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with over 8 years of experience to lead a major new platform implementation. This role is a hybrid of technical architecture and business consultancy, requiring an active Secret Clearance. You will be the primary lead for translating high-level business process needs into a robust, ITIL-aligned ServiceNow ecosystem. From initial business workshops and base infrastructure setup to the development of complex dashboards and the meticulous cleaning of asset data, you will ensure the platform provides a "big picture" view of the organization’s operational health.
Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end setup of a new ServiceNow instance, including base infrastructure and core ITSM modules

Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to map business processes and ensure the technical roadmap aligns with organizational goals

Configure and maintain the CMDB, focusing on the rigorous cleaning of asset data and the creation of accurate Configuration Items (CIs)

Use JavaScript to develop sophisticated Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Script Includes

Build interactive dashboards and Performance Analytics to provide real-time visibility into ITSM metrics

Manage platform health, performing upgrades, monitoring performance, and ensuring ITIL best practices are followed
Required Skills

8+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Expert-level JavaScript and Glide API skills; mastery of the ServiceNow CMDB and ITSM suite

Deep functional knowledge of ITIL v3 or v4 frameworks

Demonstrated ability to lead requirements-gathering workshops and maintain a "big picture" view of business processes

Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub for third-party tool connectivity

Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
Preferred Skills

CIS in Performance Analytics, Discovery, or Service Mapping

Proven success in legacy data cleanup and large-scale asset migration

Experience acting as a Technical Lead or Architect on federal ServiceNow contracts

Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
