Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, fixtures, and appliances using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct plumbing inspections using specialized cameras and schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation and repair work aligned with local building codes.
- Perform drain cleaning using professional equipment such as plumbing inspection cameras and drain snakes to clear blockages efficiently.
- Operate company vehicles safely to travel between job sites while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Engage with customers professionally by explaining repair procedures, providing maintenance advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Assist with remodeling projects or construction site work as needed, including pipe threading, assembly, heavy lifting, and handyman tasks.
Skills
- Proven construction experience with a focus on residential plumbing projects.
- Skilled in welding, pipe threading, schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and assembly techniques.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, and heavy lifting equipment.
- Strong knowledge of water systems, plumbing system maintenance and repair practices in residential settings.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to construction plumbing standards.
- Experience with drain cleaning equipment and techniques for effective clog removal.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Construction site experience including remodeling or renovation projects involving plumbing components.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately; basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely; adherence to safety protocols at all times.
