Chef Assistant – Thai Restaurant
Yum Thai Restaurant is looking for a reliable and hardworking Chef Assistant to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Chop and prepare vegetables and other ingredients
- Prepare ingredients for daily cooking
- Assist with cooking and preparing stir fried dishes
- Keep the kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organized
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy hours
Schedule:
- Start time: 10:00 AM
- End time: 9:30 PM
- 1-hour break
Pay:
- Starting pay: $150 per day
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Asian cuisine is required
- Experience working in a restaurant kitchen is preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to work well as part of a team
