Buncha Brainiacs Learning Academy is seeking an energetic, patient, and creative Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team as we prepare for our grand opening!
We are looking for someone who loves working with toddlers, understands their unique developmental needs, and can create an engaging classroom where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- No weekends
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
- Foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Create a positive classroom culture through guidance and encouragement
- Communicate effectively with families regarding children's progress
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
- Ensure compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards
- Supervise assistant teachers and classroom routines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous childcare experience required
- Toddler classroom experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and meet licensing requirements
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
