Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), TheCMA will support licensed medical providers during aesthetic treatments, ensure a positive patient experience, maintain treatment rooms, and assist with clinical and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and passionate about aesthetics, wellness, and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Prepare patients for consultations and aesthetic treatments.
- Assist providers during medical and cosmetic procedures including:
- Botox® and dermal filler appointments
- PRP treatments
- Microneedling
- Laser treatments
- IV therapy
- Weight management visits
- Skin rejuvenation procedures
- Obtain and document patient medical histories and vital signs.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, sterile environment.
- Sterilize instruments and manage infection control procedures.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
- Photograph patients before and after treatments as directed.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment instructions.
- Monitor inventory and restock medical and treatment supplies.
Administrative Duties
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
- Verify patient paperwork and consent forms.
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
- Process payments and assist with checkout when needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Customer Service
- Provide exceptional patient care from check-in through follow-up.
- Build positive relationships with patients.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance.
- Help create a welcoming, luxury spa environment.
- Support patient retention through excellent service and education.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, cosmetic medicine, or a medical spa.
- Knowledge of aesthetic procedures and skincare products.
- Experience assisting with cosmetic injectables and laser procedures.
- Sales or retail experience in aesthetics is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
