Hello! We are seeking a part-time Guest Service Representative for our TownePlace Suites in Morristown managed by Gibson Hotel Management.
What The Job Looks Like:
As a guest service representative at TPS Morristown, you'll interact with guests on a daily basis while delivering southern hospitality in the Marriott fashion. Your job will include but is not limited to:
- Answering and routing all incoming calls for the hotel on the main line
- Checking guests in and out using the hotel property management system
- Maintain records of cash counts and pass-along logs online
- Assist with lost-and-found record keeping
- Communicate with housekeeping as needed for changes to departures and stayovers
- Completing checklists and their assigned items for each scheduled shift
- Creating and maintaining reservations using the hotel property mangement system
- Stocking the In a Pinch market
- Handling guest relations in a hospitable and professional manner
- Reporting directly to the Assistant General Manager or Front Office Manager
- Reporting to the General Manager
- Other tasks as assigned

What the Job Takes:
Here are some of the things we look for when considering a candidate! Keep in mind, if you don't meet each requirement but you think you'd still make a great fit, go ahead and apply!
- Experience with general computer use (this is a strong preference as the position requires a large portion of time interacting with them)
- Experience in an in-person customer service environment
- Experience in hotel hospitality (Marriott/Hilton/IHG experience preferred)
Pay and Working Hours:
The starting wage for this position is $14/hr.
We are a 24/7, 365 days a year operation so we ask for open availability. We are happy to work with scheduling demands outside of work so long as they fit in with our scheduling needs.
