About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified C-15 Qualifier to join our team and support the continued growth of our solar and construction operations.
The C-15 Qualifier will serve as a key licensed professional responsible for helping ensure that the company’s operations remain compliant with applicable licensing, regulatory, and industry requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced C-15 license holder who is interested in a performance-based compensation structure tied to the company’s net profit.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the company’s designated C-15 Qualifying Individual, as applicable.
- Maintain compliance with Nevada licensing requirements and applicable construction regulations.
- Provide appropriate oversight and guidance related to work performed within the C-15 classification.
- Support the company in maintaining required licenses, permits, registrations, and documentation.
- Work closely with Operations, Project Management, Sales, and Leadership to ensure projects are completed in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Review and provide guidance on project-related work within the C-15 classification.
- Assist with compliance documentation, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
- Communicate effectively with company leadership, employees, subcontractors, customers, inspectors, and regulatory agencies, as needed.
- Help identify and mitigate compliance, operational, and licensing risks.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure that work is performed in accordance with applicable safety standards and company policies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field teams when necessary.
Qualifications
- Active Nevada C-15 license or qualifying credentials in good standing.
- Minimum of four (4) years of required journey-level experience, preferably in a relevant construction trade.
- Proven experience in construction, contracting, roofing, or a related field.
- Extensive construction experience, with a strong focus on roofing repair, metal roofing, siding installation, and restoration projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and heavy-lifting techniques, as well as applicable OSHA and local safety regulations.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment, with the ability to understand and interpret schematics for various construction tasks.
- Demonstrated experience working outdoors in diverse weather conditions while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Caulking and waterproofing techniques
- Strong problem-solving and project oversight skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate technical instructions clearly and accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively with management, field personnel, subcontractors, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
Compensation
The compensation package will be based on a percentage of net profit and is open for discussion based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, responsibilities, and overall scope of engagement.
