Education – High school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of Medical Assistant program or training received from a Vo-Tech or equivalent is preferred. Experience in lieu of education requirements may be considered.
Experience – Three (3) years specific related medical assistant experiences preferred. Experience with digital check-in workflows, Epic/MyChart platforms, or telehealth intake is highly desirable.
Licenses & Certification – Valid BLS certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire. CMA certification is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills –
Ability to utilize Epic software, personal computers, webcam equipment, and healthcare applications.
The purpose of the position is to provide medical, administrative, and technological support to patients of the Muscogee Creek Nation department of Health’s On-Demand Telehealth Clinic. Incumbent will manage acute care MyChart patient registration, virtual intake workflows, and clerical tasks. Technical support and guidance are provided by the Clinical Director, Providers, and/or RN care managers/triage nurses.
Work is performed in a fast-paced healthcare facility and digital office setting. Working with electronic workstations requires recurring typing, screen viewing, and positioning of digital equipment. Incumbent must be able to cope with constant changes in high-volume, acute care environment.

Satisfactory job performance will be determined by successful execution of the following:
Performs administrative office, registration, insurance verification, and clerical intake duties to efficiently check-in virtual patients.
Guides patients through the virtual intake process, verifying patient identity, providing technical guidance on how to navigate MyChart video visits, obtaining/validating self-reported vital signs, and updating medical histories and current medications.
