American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a Level IV NICU position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience.

Level IV NICU in a hospital setting
-
Day shift, 36–48 hours per week
-
NICU RNs float as NRP nurses and to the postpartum unit
-
Postpartum experience is needed due to floating responsibilities
-
Active, unrestricted CA RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association)

Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required

Must have worked in the NICU specialty within the last 3 months

Two supervisor references required: one from the past year and one from within the past two years

Clean, unrestricted license history required — candidates with any prior license action will not be considered

Provides neonatal intensive care nursing in a Level IV NICU environment

Floats to postpartum unit and serves in NRP nurse capacity as needed

Skills checklist for the NICU specialty must have been completed within the past year

RTO is limited — candidates requesting more than 5 days off during the contract will not be considered
