Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Ossining, NY
Compensation: Up to $30/hour DOE
We have been hired to help a client find an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment. This role is best suited for a hands-on technician with strong mechanical experience who can quickly respond to equipment issues and help maintain efficient, uninterrupted production. No relocation assistance provided. Must be within a commutable distance to Ossining, NY. this is for manufacturing machinery must have experience.
Qualifications:

Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience

Experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, including CNC machines, pumps, compressors, and mechanical systems

Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, and gearboxes

Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform effective repairs with minimal supervision

Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred

Welding and fabrication experience preferred

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals

Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices
Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production flow

Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely corrective repairs
-
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery
-
Maintain and repair CNC machines, pumps, compressors, and mechanical systems
-
Install and align motors, bearings, shafts, and related components
-
Perform basic welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed
-
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation
-
