Role Description The Fund Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Healdsburg, CA. This position is responsible for designing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies that support THE 222’s mission and programs. Day-to-day activities include cultivating and stewarding donor relationships, managing annual and planned giving campaigns, and identifying new philanthropic prospects. The Fund Development Manager will prepare compelling proposals and reports, coordinate fundraising events, and collaborate with leadership and program staff to align funding priorities with organizational goals. The role also involves tracking fundraising performance, maintaining accurate donor records, and ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards in philanthropy.
Qualifications
- Experience with fundraising and philanthropy, including the ability to build and sustain strong donor and sponsor relationships. Particularly in a small community setting.
- Knowledge of annual giving and planned giving strategies, with demonstrated success in designing and implementing giving programs.
- Strong proposal writing and grant writing skills, including the ability to communicate impact and align proposals with funder interests.
- Proven ability to develop and execute fund development plans, set targets, and analyze fundraising data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility and teamwork.
- Organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with donor management or CRM systems (we use Keela) and basic proficiency in standard office software.
Pay: $30,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
