Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, and applying primer or sealers
- Apply paint, stain, or finishes using hand tools or airless paint spraying equipment across residential and commercial sites
- Assist with demolition, framing, trim carpentry, caulking, and fixture installation to support renovation projects
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks including masonry, stucco application, and concrete finishing
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform maintenance on tools and equipment; assist with site cleanup and organization to maintain a safe work environment
- Support team members with demolition, restoration, remodeling, and other general labor duties as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction painting or related fields such as renovation, restoration, or industrial painting is preferred
- Must have experience using paint sprayer and cutting edges with a brush.
- Knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques for residential and commercial projects
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics for accurate project execution
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment required for construction site work
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during project planning and execution
- Experience with carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, welding, or plastering is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining safety standards on-site
