Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic CNA / Housekeeper to join our team! This vital role combines direct patient care with maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients. You will play a key part in supporting residents’ health and comfort while ensuring their living spaces are hygienic and well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse to support ongoing health assessments
- Provide basic medical assistance, including medication reminders and simple procedures like catheter care or wound care under supervision
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by performing housekeeping duties such as laundry, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Use patient transfer methods safely, including Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices, to prevent injury for both residents and staff
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families to ensure personalized care plans are followed
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification with current state licensure or registration
- Experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support (CPR) certification required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) such as Epic or Cerner is a plus
- Strong caregiver communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform manual handling tasks throughout shifts

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
