Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a growing orthopedic practice. DPT will work in an outpatient clinic setting. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, as well as experience in treating diverse patient populations, including geriatrics and orthopedic cases. The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Duties
- Full time and part time available
- Availability to work 1 evening a week preferred
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient goals.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including trigger point therapy and exercise regimens.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
Experience
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential for effective patient assessment and treatment.
- Experience working with geriatric patients or in home health settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
