Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, hallways, and restrooms spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, manual handling and safe lifting practices to prevent injuries.
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and high-touch areas regularly.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management while maintaining a positive attitude focused on customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial services, custodial work, or healthcare facilities housekeeping is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to chemical handling, environmental services, and safe manual handling practices.
- Ability to perform lifting safely while following established safety protocols.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures specific to Inn or hotel environments including floor care techniques and sanitation practices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards consistently.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and responding to requests courteously.
- Prior experience with cleaning equipment operation such as vacuums, floor mops, or steam cleaners is advantageous.
