Overview
We are seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform on-site repair and maintenance for semi-trailers and box trucks. This role focuses on diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and performing preventative maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills and communicates effectively with customers.
Duties
- Perform on-site repairs and troubleshooting
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems (wiring, sensors, switches, control modules)
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Provide customers with basic maintenance recommendations
Requirements
- Experience in semi-trailer repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with air brakes, hydraulics, and trailer systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and customer communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and follow safety procedures
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
