Construction Superintendent

They are currently separating the two sides of the business, and actively seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent, with strong commercial experience who brings deep knowledge and a collaborative spirit, delivering exceptional client experiences while shaping some of Louisville’s most distinctive spaces.

What You’ll Do
● Take full accountability for the successful execution of commercial construction projects
● Ensure all work is performed in compliance with plans, specs, local codes, and Wilkinson’s standards
● Coordinate and schedule all on-site work including subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and laborers
● Identify and communicate any plan changes or conflicts with the project team
● Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure job site for all personnel
● Implement and maintain job site quality control practices—Wilkinson’s craftsmanship is non-negotiable
● Build strong, positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders
● Drive project schedules, manage daily activities, and proactively resolve conflicts
● Walk the site daily to inspect for quality, progress, and safety compliance
● Prepare and submit weekly progress reports using Wilkinson’s standard reporting template
What You Bring
● 3–5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
● Proven leadership in ground-up and renovation projects for development and commercial clients
● Strong understanding of construction documents, local codes, methods, and materials
● Experience with Procore, MS Project, or similar construction software
● Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
● Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
● OSHA 30-hour certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications preferred (not required)
● High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
