Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM-6:00PM and Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Trail Creek Pharmacy is seeking a motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Technician Trainee (with a valid Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician Trainee Registration) to join our growing team.
We are more than just a retail pharmacy. Our ownership also operates both Trail Creek Pharmacy and Physicians Choice Infusion, a rapidly growing sterile compounding pharmacy. As our organization continues to expand, team members have opportunities to grow their careers in multiple areas of pharmacy.
What You'll Do
- Assist pharmacists in processing and filling prescriptions
- Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy management system
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients professionally
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock medications
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy
- Data Entry
- Pharmacy Operations
- Sterile Compounding (USP <797>/<800>)*
*Additional training provided for qualified candidates.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or
- Current Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee Registration
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Previous retail pharmacy experience is preferred but not required
