Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing dermatology practice. This position is ideal for someone with at least three years of dermatology experience who is looking for a long-term career home.

Duties
- Rooming patients and obtaining medical histories
- Assisting providers with medical and surgical dermatology procedures
- Performing suture removals, wound care, biopsies, and patient education
- Preparing and maintaining procedure rooms
- Documenting accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) ModMed
- Assisting with prior authorizations, prescriptions, and pathology follow-up as needed
- Providing exceptional patient care while supporting an efficient clinic workflow
Experience
- Minimum of three years of experience working as a Medical Assistant within dermatology
- Proven expertise in dermatological procedures including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and X-ray imaging
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology related to skin conditions, pharmacology for dermatology medications, and ICD coding practices
- Prior experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR systems), EMR (Electronic Medical Records), Experience with Modernizing Medicine (ModMed/EMA) is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle medical-surgical tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
