We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (Spanish and English) Shift Lead to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service in both Spanish and English.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all menu items.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and food handling procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff members in food service techniques, customer service excellence, and safety protocols.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Support kitchen management by coordinating food production, supervising food presentation, and maintaining efficient kitchen operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, inventory control, and food industry regulations.
- Experience with managing hospitality teams, including training & development, interviewing potential staff, and overseeing shift management.
- Prior casual dining or fine dining experience is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English to effectively lead diverse teams and serve a multicultural clientele.
