We are seeking a DAYSHIFT highly skilled and detail-oriented Bindery Cutter Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team at a Printing Manufacturing Company. In this role, you will be responsible for operating precision cutting machinery to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise in machine operation, and quality control will ensure that every product meets our strict standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of print advertising, packaging, and other printed goods in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Duties
- Operate and monitor various types of cutting equipment, including large-format cutters and Die cutters or punches, ensuring precise cuts according to production specifications.
- Interpret production documents and layout designs to accurately set up machines for each job.
- Adjust machine settings and perform routine maintenance to optimize performance and prevent downtime.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products, verifying dimensions, cuts, and overall finish quality.
- Maintain detailed production logs and document any machine adjustments or issues for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating industrial cutting machinery within a printing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical documents related to print production and machine operation.
- Understanding of material handling, binding techniques, and finishing processes like screen printing or offset press operations is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and precision in every cut.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
