Installer Overview

Duties
- Measure and cut fiberglass insulation materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit various spaces within buildings.
- Install insulation in walls, attics, ceilings, floors, and other structural areas following blueprints and schematics.
- Ensure proper sealing and caulking of insulation to maximize energy efficiency and prevent air leaks.
- Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes seamlessly.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to determine insulation specifications and placement.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris safely after installation.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in building trades is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as utility knives, tape measures, and caulking guns is essential.
- Knowledge of power tools including drills, saws, and airless paint sprayers is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, metal stud framing, or masonry can be beneficial.
- Experience with fabrication processes or trim carpentry helps ensure precise insulation installation.
- A strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites is required to maintain a secure work environment. Must have a Valid Driver's License (we daily drive 20'-26' box trucks)
For the 2026 year we have large multi-family projects ongoing and multiple large home builders (Busy all year around- Winter is busy as well) We work with some of the largest builders in the Shakopee area.
We install Fiberglass insulation as well as doing blown in walls, attics, ceilings.
We also install open and closed cell spray foam.
Training positions for foam and blowing truck are also open as well. Weekends available if needed
