Global Pharmaceutical company is seeking a skilled and hands-on Accountant to oversee daily financial operations and drive the monthly closing sequence.
The ideal candidate will possess the technical expertise to operate independently across full-cycle accounting functions, manage communication and coordination with our external CPA partner, and guarantee timely, precise financial reporting.
Base Salary: 70K~80K plus up to 10% performance based bonus

■Core Responsibilities
1. Financial & General Ledger Accounting (Approx. 80%)
・Month-End & Year-End Closing: Independently own the comprehensive month-end close cycle. Prepare, review, and post month-end journal entries while ensuring timely balance sheet reconciliations.
・Financial Statement Preparation: Develop, reconcile, and present foundational financial reports, including the Balance Sheet (BS), Profit & Loss (P&L) Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
・Accounts Payable & Receivable: Supervise full-cycle A/P processes (invoice validation, vendor relations, and payment runs) and A/R functions (billing, collections tracking, and account adjustments).
・CPA Firm Liaison: Act as the primary internal contact for our external CPA and tax consultancy partners, facilitating regular information exchange for monthly closes, audit preparation, and tax compliance.
・Treasury & Assets: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow movements, and manage structured logs for fixed assets and inventory tracking.
・Compliance & Analysis: Review statement variations, identify anomalies, assure GAAP compliance, and suggest internal control enhancements to elevate overall financial practices.
2. Departmental Marketing Support (Approx. 20%)
・Provide key administrative and logistical support to the core Marketing team.
・Coordinate meeting schedules, maintain calendars, and manage vendor/client relationships for ongoing campaigns.
・Prepare specialized presentation slides, summary reports, and client-facing project collateral.
・Organize corporate travel details and handle the corresponding expense reports.
・Assist in organizing promotional events, conventions, industry tradeshows, and physical marketing inventory.
■Qualifications & Experience
・Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
・Professional Experience: 5+ years of corporate accounting experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
・Closing Capability: Proven experience fully owning and executing the month-end closing process from start to finish.
・Reporting Skills: Extensive background preparing and evaluating key financial reports (BS, P&L, Cash Flow).
・External Collaboration: Prior experience collaborating directly with external CPA firms or audit agencies.
・Standards: Sound understanding of US GAAP standards and core internal compliance processes.
・Systems: High proficiency in accounting ERP software and advanced capabilities with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, data analysis).
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
