Job Overview
The Operations Assistant provides administrative, facility, and training support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the business. This is a contract position and weekly hours will vary; this role will begin at 40 - 80 hours per month. This role requires flexibility and willingness to assist in many aspects of daily operations. No two days are exactly alike.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Accurate data entry
- Assist with class logistics and class preparation
- Strong computer literacy with excellent typing, proofreading, and data entry skills are required
- Maintain inventory of training materials
Training and Operations Support
- Set up and break down training areas and testing courses
- Assist exam proctors as directed
- Perform errands and miscellaneous operational tasks
Facility Maintenance
- Perform routine light cleaning of offices classrooms, and common areas
- Empty trash, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces
- Keep the facility organized, presentable, and ready for classes and visitors
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, squat, and climb stairs
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely set up, move, and organize training equipment and testing materials
