About the role:
Capstone Hospitality is seeking a motivated individual eager to develop in sales. This candidate is a golfer, has a passion for the game and would like to serve as the Golf Membership Sales Director at a premier private golf club located in the St. Louis, MO area.
Training Program:
The position includes a two-week training period. Week 1: Remote training; Week 2: In-person training at our Jacksonville, FL headquarters. Upon completion, you will work full-time on-site at the client club.
Primary Role and Responsibilities include:
- Drive new membership sales at Capstone’s private client club
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual membership sales goals
- Develop and execute a strategic membership sales plan tailored to the club
- Utilize Capstone Hospitality’s proven lead generation programs
- Proactively generate new leads through outbound calls, networking, and marketing efforts
- Manage the full sales process: lead qualification, presentations, tours, follow-up, and closing
- Foster referral business through relationships with current members and staff
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales activity and results
- Serve as an integral part of the on-site club team, delivering exceptional service to members and prospects
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional sales and marketing experience
- Minimum 2 years working within the private golf club industry
- Strong golf background; you understand the game, the culture, and the value of a private club membership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making
- Organized, self-motivated, and driven to exceed goals
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
- Willingness to complete required training and work on-site in the St. Louis, MO area
- Comfortable working Tuesday–Saturday in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Compensation: Performance-based compensation. Average annual compensation INCLUSIVE of base + commissions is $80,000-$120,000+. Sales professionals enjoy the ability to control their own income with uncapped commissions.
Schedule: Full-time position. Tuesday - Saturday.
