Heavy Haul Driver – Oversize Load Specialist
Preferred Elites, LLC is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Heavy Haul Driver to transport oversize and overweight loads throughout the region. This position requires a professional driver with heavy haul experience, strong securement skills, and knowledge of oversize permitting and route requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport oversize and overweight loads on flatbed and specialized trailers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Properly secure loads in compliance with DOT and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and pilot car operators.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 5 years of heavy haul and/or flatbed experience preferred.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening.
- Absolutely no accidents on record.
- Knowledge of load securement, permits, and oversize load regulations.
- Ability to travel the lower 48 and work flexible schedules as required.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
