Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our customers’ vehicles running smoothly and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for automotive repair and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. All work performed will be paid, including internships or entry-level positions.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Work on diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics tasks when required, utilizing specialized knowledge of diesel engine repair and air brake systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for accurate troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform repairs on GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required.
- Experience working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology is desirable.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
- Knowledge of oil change procedures, wheel alignment techniques, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Pay: $29.48 - $32.61 per hour
