Do you love interior design, have a passion for style or obsessed with HGTV? Then join our design center team at Warehouse Paint. In this position, you'll assist walk-in customers with their design needs by recommending products such as Hunter Douglas window coverings, wallpaper and fabrics, and consulting on paint color selections and overall color palettes. An eye for colors & design is a must. You'll also provide support to the department's outside sales/design consultant - coordinating appointments and installations, and placing orders.
One year of experience working in a design related field is preferred. Warehouse Paint is a local, family-owned business with 5 store locations throughout the Sacramento area. Join the team and become part of our growing family.
Job Duties:
-Work directly with customers both in person & over the phone
-Assist outside sales/design consultant with in-home appointment scheduling & order placement
-Provide in-store color consulting
-Learn and recommend the full line-up of Hunter Douglas window covering products
-Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs & climb a 3' ladder
-Learn POS system, and Hunter Douglas' online ordering and digital tools
-Assist customers with wallpaper selections and ordering
Employment Type: Part time, approx. 28-32 hours / 4-5 days per week. May include some Saturdays.
*NOTE: must pass drug test & fit for duty physical before hire date
