A high school diploma or equivalency is required with one year experience in a nursing/medical office setting. Office skills such as word processing, data base entry and spreadsheet desirable. Current BLS/CPR certification is required. Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) preferred.
Provides direct care to clinic patients under the direction of the Clinical Manager or Staff RN’s. Assist the professional staff in the provision of care by preparing patients to be seen by the physician, cleansing wounds, photographing wounds, measuring wounds, obtaining vital signs, assisting patients with limited mobility and performing specific procedures which include total contact cast, compression wraps, negative pressure wound therapy and other designated dressing changes with appropriate orientation and supervision. Follows all affiliated medical center policies and procedures. Performs general clerical duties.
