Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, patient-focused Orthopedic Surgeon to join a rapidly growing surgical group in the Greater Houston area. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to build a high-volume surgical practice with access to dedicated operating rooms, advanced diagnostic facilities, and a robust internal referral base.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive operative and non-operative care for general orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, musculoskeletal trauma, and joint degenerative diseases.
- Perform elective and emergency surgical procedures (arthroscopy, fracture repair, joint reconstruction/replacement).
- Conduct outpatient clinic evaluations, manage post-operative care, and oversee patient rehabilitation plans.
- Partner with on-site diagnostic radiology teams to review MRIs, CT scans, and digital X-rays for rapid clinical decision-making.
- Participate in shared departmental call coverage.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency: Completed ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
- Fellowship: Fellowship training in Total Joint Reconstruction, Sports Medicine, or Trauma is a plus (Optional/Preferred).
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or AOBOS.
- Licensure: Active unrestricted Texas Medical License (or eligible).
- Clear malpractice record and active DEA registration.
