Job Summary
Lakeside Facility Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Evening Floor Tech to join our custodial team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during evening hours. Your focus will be on performing thorough floor care, cleaning, and custodial tasks to ensure our facility remains pristine and inviting for staff and visitors alike. Location: 9501 Euclid Ave Cleveland, Ohio HEC building
Work Days and Hours: Monday-Friday 6-10 pm (20 hours per week, 4hrs per day)
**could possibly be an extra hour a night depending on project and potential for extra hours, if desired
Pay: $18.00 HR (bi-weekly pay)
Extra Incentives :Holiday pay and Perfect attendance bonus after 90 days
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and shine.
- Conduct carpet cleaning procedures such as vacuuming, spot removal, and deep cleaning as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of all hard surfaces, including tiles, vinyl floors, and other flooring types.
- Use specialized equipment for buffing and polishing floors to enhance durability and appearance.
- Follow established janitorial protocols to ensure restrooms, common areas, and workspaces are hygienic and well-maintained.
- Handle waste disposal and replenish supplies like paper towels, soap, and other consumables efficiently.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and environmental standards while performing custodial tasks.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work is required
- Must have Project experience in floors and carpets !!!!!
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and carpet cleaning is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, extractors, and related tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during evening shifts.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive motions comfortably.
