Translate engineering intent into efficient CNC programs and machining processes for components and sub-assemblies.

Own NC file governance—revision control and security per EMD procedures.

Drive productivity: analyze methods, labor standards, product flow, and resource needs to reduce unit cost and improve throughput.

Be the technical connector among program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production.

Shape tooling strategies and build CAM tooling libraries; advise on new NC machine tool acquisitions.

Mentor operator-programmers to elevate capability across the shop.

Coordinate with design engineering on new product releases and conduct manufacturability reviews of drawings.

Support evaluation of engineering changes and specification updates.

Develop and optimize CNC toolpaths in Mastercam; Siemens NX exposure is valuable.

BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent background).

5+ years in a manufacturing setting (machining, welding/fabrication, assembly, electrical, or plastics).

5+ years CAM programming (Mastercam required or equivalent); Siemens NX experience is a plus.

Expertise in GD&T per ASME Y14.5M and blueprint interpretation.

Experience with commercial nuclear and/or military quality systems.

Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; familiarity with 3D solid modeling is beneficial.

Eligible to obtain and maintain DoD-related security authorizations.

Salary: $75,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year. The range reflects a PA-based role; final compensation is determined by your experience, qualifications, position scope, and market/business considerations.
