Wellness In Motion is looking for a passionate and energetic RBT to join our growing team! This is a non-traditional role focused less on strict behavioral intervention and more on meaningful engagement, movement, sensory support, fitness, and community interaction for children, teens, and young adults with special needs.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Comfortable being active, playful, and engaging
- Familiar with sensory systems and sensory-specific needs
- Comfortable with fitness, exercise, movement activities, and community outings
- Able to follow individualized support plans
- Patient, creative, and able to build genuine connections
- Open-minded and flexible in non-traditional support settings
This role may include:
- Community-based sessions
- Movement and fitness activities
- Sensory regulation support
- Social interaction and engagement
- Supporting participation in fun and meaningful activities
- Helping clients build confidence, body awareness, and independence
This is a fun and rewarding position for someone who enjoys thinking outside the box and making a real impact through connection and movement rather than sitting at a table all day.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Active RBT certification preferred
- Experience working with individuals with special needs
- Knowledge of sensory processing and regulation strategies
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Spanish speaking is a bonus
- Bachelors degree optional
