About the Job (Role):
The Central Processing Specialist – NSF position is responsible for all NSF items, as well as charge-offs and overdraft accounts, sending foreign (Canadian) checks for collection, monthly minor savings accounts service charge changes, and deceased customer audits. All CPS Specialists are expected to promote and exemplify Bank values and confidentiality, and stay current on Bank policies, procedures and financial reporting best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- NSF and Exception Processing: Review all NSF items daily and determine whether items should be paid or returned; maintain the NSF fee waiver log.
- Customer Correspondence: Prepare and print daily letters and notices related to loans, wires, address changes, dormant accounts, and other account activities.
- ACH Monitoring: Review ACH stop and OFAC reports to ensure items are not improperly paid or returned and verify no direct OFAC hits.
- Account Maintenance: Review minor savings accounts monthly, update service codes when customers reach age 18, and notify customers of account changes.
- Quality Control: Review construction check endorsement reports to ensure proper endorsements and required officer initials are present
- Team Support: Assist other CPS Specialists as needed and perform additional related duties as assigned.

ENVIRONMENT: This role operates in a professional, climate-controlled office setting with moderate noise levels. Must be able to remain stationary and in a seated position for extended periods of time, inspect documents and computer screens to detect errors, and move freely - ascending and descending stairs throughout the day as needed. Physical lifting requirements: 25-30 lbs. Must be able to work your scheduled hours with reliability and punctuality.
COMPENSATION:In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act, compensation differentials for this position are based on multiple factors, including but not limited to: education, experience, training and skillset. All compensation offers are analyzed individually.
