MidAmerican Building Services is looking for an experienced Flooring Tech in Dubuque, IA to add to our team!!
**$250 Sign on Bonus:
$250 paid for 90 days. Must be an active employee at time of payout to collect the bonus.
Pay Rate: $20.00
Schedule: Full-time, evenings
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of operating flooring machines.
- You must successfully pass a background check in accordance with contractual obligation.
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability is required.
- Must be dependable, ability to work independently, flexible.
Job Tasks:
- Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large area of floor surface
- Perform routine floor cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, wet mopping, and scrubber
- Identify and report any damage or repairs needed for flooring.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as required.
- Maintain cleanliness & organization of storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to environmental and health standards for the use of cleaning chemicals.
- A cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 75 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 75 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile and carpeted floors.
- Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to care of floors.
- Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products.
