ELEMENTARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
The successful candidate will provide the leadership necessary to promote a rigorous and comprehensive instructional program that ensures the academic, social, and emotional success of a diverse student body of students in an elementary school setting.

- Excellent human relations skills.
- Outstanding personal and professional integrity.
- Demonstrates the ability to be an instructional leader in core subject areas.
- Supports teachers during high-quality professional development in literacy and mathematics.
- Passionate about teaching and learning for all students.
- Valid NYS certification as School Administrator & Supervisor (SAS) or School Building Leader (SBL) required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant school teaching experience grades K-6.
- Thorough knowledge of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Standards & NYS Assessments.
- Experience with using student management systems.
- Experience implementing socio-emotional skills education.
- Successful experience integrating technology initiatives to increase student achievement and engagement aimed at developing 21st-century skills in students.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration among stakeholders, including parents, teachers, staff, and community, in supporting student success.
Salary: In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement of MIAA
