Experienced CNC Machinist

We need an experienced CNC Machinist to help build on our 40 years of precision machining success, and to enhance the technical capabilities of our team.
This position requires multiple years of CNC machining experience. Additional pay, training and growth opportunities are provided for those interested. Minimum starting base pay is $23/hr (including shift premium) + an additional $200/mo attendance bonus (after 90 days). Starting pay may be higher based on experience and/or after 90-day probationary period.

Main Responsibilities
This role requires a reliable, dedicated person and team player who takes pride in their work, exhibits a willingness to learn and is committed to producing a quality product.
This position includes changeovers and setups of CNC precision-machined metal parts, including repeat batch work, running small-to-medium size batch production and associated tool adjustments, tool changes, and troubleshooting. Materials often processed include aluminum, brass, stainless steel, cast iron and various grades of steel; most parts are no more than 25 lbs.
Production tasks may include simultaneous operation of multiple machines, visual inspections, measurement and documenting of quality checks (including CMM checks). There will be additional opportunities to learn enhanced CNC machining.
Shift Hours:
Sunday night - Thursday night; straight 8-hour shift, including 20-minute paid lunch (occasional overtime Saturdays). Sundays are no work days.
3rd shift - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
1. Education:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- NIMS Machining Level II (Lathe & Mill Journey level) or equivalent experience
2. Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Blueprint reading
- Repeat Established Setups - fixture, tooling, program selection
- Speeds / feeds / tooling adjustments & changes
- Experience with program editing

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Compensation
1. Compensation is made up of hourly rate, based on 8-hour, 5-day work week plus occasional overtime.
2. After 90-day probationary period, employees are eligible for the following benefits:
