What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is compassionate, motivated, and committed to providing outstanding patient care and exceptional client service.
Veterinary Technician Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience
- Strong foundation in small animal general practice
- Venipuncture
- Intravenous catheter placement
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical assistance
- Digital radiography
- Interpret ear and skin cytology, platelet estimates, urinalysis, fecal analysis, and other in-house diagnostics
- Excellent patient restraint and nursing skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Calm, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Dependable, self-motivated, and proactive
- Strong team player who values collaboration
- Comfortable using veterinary software (Avimark experience is a plus but not required)
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and some holidays.
