Member Duties : The Public Engagement VISTA will support the development, implementation and evaluation of sustainable strategies and tools to strengthen outreach and enrollment in First Steps programs and other publicly funded early childhood services, with an emphasis on maximizing parent engagement and knowledge. This VISTA role will develop and implement community outreach plans to connect eligible families - especially those in underserved communities - with early childhood programs and services. Activities include planning outreach event calendars, designing outreach and recruitment toolkits, developing training materials and platforms, and building relationships with community-based organizations.
