Property Inspector
LREI Property Management – Louisville, KY & Surrounding Areas
Pay: $20–$25 per hour
Job Type: Full-time | Field-Based
LREI Property Management is hiring a Property Inspector to support our residential property management operations. This is a field-based inspection role focused on move-in, renewal, and move-out inspections for single-family and multifamily properties. This position is ideal for candidates seeking a hands-on role in real estate or property management with growth opportunities.
No prior inspection or property management experience required — paid training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct move-in inspections, renewal inspections, and move-out inspections
- Inspect residential rental properties for condition, damage, and lease compliance
- Document inspections using mobile inspection software and paperless systems
- Take and upload photos, notes, and reports accurately and timely
- Communicate with residents to schedule inspections and provide updates
- Coordinate with Property Managers, Leasing, and Maintenance teams
- Identify inspection issues and recommend next steps to Property Managers
- Attend team meetings to review property conditions and inspection standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively with a team
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, mobile apps, and inspection software
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Professional communication skills with residents and internal teams
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable vehicle required (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced property management environment
Experience
- No experience required – training provided
- Experience in property management, real estate, inspections, leasing, maintenance, construction, or facilities is a plus but not required
Work Environment & Benefits
- Majority of work performed in the field throughout Louisville and surrounding areas
- Occasional office time for scheduling, reporting, and team meetings
- Hourly pay: $20–$25, based on experience
