Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Milling & Lathe Machinist with extensive experience in setup and operation. This role requires strong technical ability, precision machining expertise, and the ability to work with a variety of CNC and manual equipment to produce high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines
- Work with a variety of equipment, including:
- Okuma mills and lathes with OSP controls
- Hardinge Bridgeport mills with OSP and Fanuc controls
- Alliant Bridgeport knee mills with DRO
- Harrison Alpha lathes
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints
- Apply precision machining techniques to meet tight tolerances
- Perform routine inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Strong experience with machine setup and operation
- Familiarity with Okuma OSP and Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with manual machining equipment is a plus
- Welding or metal fabrication experience is a plus
Hours:
Monday through Friday – 6:30am to 3pm
Compensation:
The pay is up to $35.00 an hour
