About Us
850 Wellness Co. is an emerging wellness and aesthetics company dedicated to helping clients optimize their health, wellness, and confidence through evidence-based treatments and exceptional care. We are seeking a Florida-licensed physician to serve as our Medical Director and provide clinical oversight for our growing practice.
Services currently offered or planned for immediate implementation include:
- IV hydration therapy
- Vitamin and nutrient injections
- Medical weight-loss programs
- Peptide therapies
- Wellness optimization services
- Aesthetic injectable treatments (Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, and related services)
Responsibilities
- Provide medical oversight and supervision as required under Florida law.
- Develop, review, and approve treatment protocols, standing orders, and clinical policies.
- Collaborate with practice leadership on the implementation and expansion of wellness and aesthetic services.
- Be available for clinical consultation regarding patient care questions and adverse events.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, standards of care, and best practices.
- Review patient records and documentation as required.
- Support quality assurance and risk management initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Florida MD or DO license.
- Board certification preferred.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, aesthetics, obesity medicine, functional medicine, or related specialties.
- Prior Medical Director experience preferred.
- Knowledge of IV hydration therapy, peptide therapy, weight management, and aesthetic injectables is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
- Medical weight-loss management (GLP-1 therapies and related treatments)
- Peptide therapies and wellness medicine
- Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, and aesthetic medicine
- Mobile wellness or concierge medicine models
- Protocol development and regulatory compliance
