Header: Duties
- Assemble electronic components and devices using detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate construction of electrical panels and systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and soldering equipment to perform surface mount technology (SMT) assembly and wire harnessing.
- Build electrical panels by following blueprint specifications, ensuring proper electrical wiring and connections in accordance with IPC 610 standards.
- Conduct mechanical assembly tasks involving electro-mechanical components, machining, and the use of mechanical knowledge to complete assemblies efficiently.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues through systematic troubleshooting techniques on electrical schematics and schematics reading to identify faults or defects.
- Perform quality checks during assembly processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IPC 610 for electrical assemblies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, test results, and process logs.
Header: Skills
- Strong understanding of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly processes and surface mount technology (SMT).
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic interpretation.
- Experience with electrical wiring, electrical panel building, soldering techniques, and following blueprint specifications.
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical components, mechanical assembly procedures, and machining tools.
- Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, calipers; power tools; ohmmeters; and other testing equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies and adherence to quality control protocols.
- Engineering troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues in electrical or mechanical assemblies.
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes including machining or fabrication techniques.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments with a focus on electronics assembly or electrical experience is highly desirable.
