Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth for two-year-olds
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among toddlers
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and developmental milestones
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to foster cooperation and emotional regulation
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support each child's individual needs and progress
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations at all times
- Incorporate Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches as appropriate to enhance learning experiences
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and behavior management strategies
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and literacy education for young children
- Ability to implement standardized testing procedures when applicable and adapt instruction accordingly
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and community partners effectively
- Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement activities into daily routines
- Knowledge of child welfare policies, mandated reporting laws, and best practices in childcare environments
- Prior experience with Montessori or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus
