We're seeking experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Float RNs for a fast-paced hospital environment. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are comfortable floating between multiple patient care areas and thrive in a dynamic setting.
Unit Details
- 130-bed facility
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
- Primary assignment: Med Surg
- Required to float to:
- Med Surg
- Behavioral Health
- Emergency Department
- ICU
- Post-procedural areas.
Clinical Requirements
Candidates must have experience and confidence with:
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Reading EKGs/ECGs and rhythm strips
- Dysrhythmia interpretation
- Drips including:
- Heparin
- Insulin
- Lasix
- Amiodarone
- Diltiazem
- Digoxin
