American Traveler is seeking a PCU Registered Nurse for night shift with cardiac drip titration experience and continuous telemetry monitoring skills required, GA or compact RN license required, first-time travelers accepted.

PCU floor specializing in Neuro/Stroke, respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical patients
-
Adolescent to geriatric patient population

1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
-
36-bed unit with an average daily census of 30
-
Continuous telemetry monitoring with cardiac drip titration required
-
Uses Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
-
Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
-
No block scheduling permitted; shift as listed is firm with no alternate schedule requests
-
Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
-
Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
-
No on-call requirements
-
Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
-
Minimum 1 year of experience required
-
Epic charting system experience preferred
-
Community hospital experience preferred
-
Skills required include respiratory care, BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube management, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, IV therapy, central and PICC line management, and blood product administration
-
Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips with titration required
-
Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and Rapid Response/Code team protocols
-
Experience with insulin drip titration and isolation precautions/PPE
-
Provide care for cardiac telemetry, neuro stepdown, and PCU/DOU/IMC patients including CVA, pre/post neurosurgery, and traumatic brain injury cases

Navy blue scrub color required
-
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with all RTO finalized at time of consideration
-
RTO blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)

No RTO can be requested during orientation week

Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
