In search of a highly motivated, experienced, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant. The qualified applicant MUST HAVE 2 years work experience in a small animal Veterinary Clinic. This full-time position includes four 10-hour weekdays (7:45 AM to 5:45 PM). No weekend or overnight shifts. Responsibilities include: patient intake and discharge, animal restraint and handling, cleaning exam rooms/treatment areas/surgical suites/kennels, monitor anesthesia, post-operative care, scheduling diagnostic procedures and submitting samples, maintain inventory and stock, client education. Excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential.
