Overview
At Joyful ABA, we are a family oriented team committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for the children and families we serve. As an RBT, you will have a hands on role in helping children develop meaningful skills, increase independence, and work toward their individual goals through ABA therapy.
RBTs are expected to arrive on time, remain engaged and focused on their clients, and provide safe, respectful, and compassionate care. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans developed by the BCBA, supporting appropriate behaviors, collecting accurate data, and completing session documentation.
This is a hands on position where you will learn the day to day ins and outs of ABA while gaining valuable experience in the field. We support those who are new to ABA and encourage our team members to ask questions, learn from feedback, and continue developing their skills.

Duties
- Implement individualized ABA therapy plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or licensed professionals
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and other self-care routines
- Collect and record precise behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational staff to reinforce therapy goals across different environments such as home or school
- Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies
Requirements
- Valid RBT certification or eligibility to obtain certification through completing required training hours
- Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorders
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and implementation of ABA therapy protocols
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health initiatives in various settings including home-based or school environments
- Strong data collection skills and familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Commitment to ethical standards outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
